Symptom
I accidentally deleted a domain from the webspace control panel. But actually I still own the domain. It was not cancelled either. I want to set up the domain again.
Solution
If the domain contained data that you want to restore,
perform a data recovery. Select the “Website” object from your backup set, select the website that you want to restore from the list and tick “Configuration and contents of the selected objects”. Start the data recovery. You can restore the domain's e-mail inboxes in the same way, but do not select the "Website" object, but "E-mail".
If no content needs to be restored,
it is sufficient to add the domain name again with the "Add domain" button on the webspace control panel. To do this, click the “Add Domain” button in the “Websites and Domains” menu, enter the domain name and then click the “Add Domain” button at the bottom of the setup page.
In both cases, it can then take up to 15 minutes before the website can be accessed again in the web browser.
